Autism Assessment and Diagnosis Training for Adults
Assessing and diagnosing autism is a complex, nuanced process. This two day, practical workshop outlines the gold standard approach for assessments and diagnosing in autism for adults. It is delivered by a clinical psychologist who leads an autism assessment service with a wealth of diagnostic experience.
The prevalence rates of diagnosis for autism is increasing, yet high quality, clear training remains sparse. Ensuring we adhere to NICE guidance, use the right assessment tools and have a sharp clinical judgment are essential for getting it right for clients. This hands-on two day course will help diagnostic clinicians and those who support autistic people to conduct and to identify high quality assessments from poor ones.

Duration: the course is two days of 5 hours each, totalling 10 hours.
