Compassionate Depression Therapy in Warwickshire, Birmingham & Online
Feeling trapped by persistent low mood, hopelessness, self-criticism or loss of interest in life? Depression affects millions, but you don't have to face it alone. At Unlock Psychology Ltd, we provide specialized depression counseling in Warwick, Leamington Spa, and throughout Warwickshire and Birmingham, plus confidential online sessions for those who prefer treatment from home.
What is Depression Therapy?
Depression therapy is a focused treatment approach that addresses the complex emotional, behavioral, and thought patterns associated with depressive disorders. Unlike general counseling, depression therapy uses targeted interventions specifically designed to lift mood, restore motivation, and rebuild your sense of purpose and enjoyment in life.
We use cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and compassion-focused therapy (CFT) among others, as these are known to be most effective for depression.
Types of Depression We Treat:
-
Major Depression - Persistent low mood affecting daily functioning
-
Seasonal Affective Disorder - Depression related to seasonal changes
-
Postnatal Depression - Support for new mothers experiencing depression
-
Persistent Depressive Disorder - Long-term, chronic low mood
-
Depression with Anxiety - Combined mood and worry symptoms
-
Bereavement-Related Depression - Complicated grief and loss
-

We can also treat anxiety and a range of other difficulties using CBT Therapy.
